The service
xyzski licenses an embeddable 3D trail-map component to ski resorts on a subscription basis, plus one-time professional services (the “bake”) and 3D-printed models sold at /3d. A subscription licenses the embed for the resorts and domains named in your order.
Tokens and domains
Embeds authenticate with a license token bound to your registered domains. Don't share tokens, proxy the embed to unlicensed domains, or re-serve our terrain bundles as your own. The demo token works on xyzski.com and localhost only.
Attribution
The map-data attribution rendered inside the embed satisfies our upstream license obligations (see Attribution). Removing or hiding it breaches these terms and the underlying data licenses. The “powered by xyzski” microlink is separate and removable at the Ridgeline tier and above.
Data accuracy
Models are built from public elevation and OpenStreetMap data and refreshed on your tier's schedule. They are a marketing and wayfinding aid — not a safety device, avalanche tool, or substitute for your official trail map, patrol signage, or closures.
Billing and cancellation
Subscriptions bill monthly or annually in advance and can be canceled anytime, effective at the end of the paid period. Setup fees are one-time and non-refundable after you approve the preview. Annual prepays refund pro-rata by unused full months.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
